Introducing Prideville's first guest speaker, journalist and author Nico Lang!

In fall of 2024, Nico released the book American Teenager: How Trans Kids are Surviving Hate and Finding Joy In a Turbulent Era, and they joined us for Pride weekend here in Prineville! At our Book Talk on Friday June 27th, Nico shared about the process to writing the youths' stories and how they continue to cover recent news and events on Instagram @QueerNewsDaily.
They also were our featured guest speaker at our Prideville Festival on Sunday June 29th and were available after speaking to meet the community, answer more questions, and sign books.
